Mark your calendars for METROCON10 Expo & Conference, which will be held at Dallas Market Hall in Dallas, Texas, on Thursday, August 12 and Friday, August 13, 2010 at Dallas Market Hall [2200 Stemmons Freeway, Dallas] and will benefit the A&D community from all over Texas and Oklahoma, as well as New Mexico, Louisiana and Arkansas. 

What will you find at METROCON10? For one, a diverse array of 200+ Exhibitors in upwards of 400 10'x10' booths, containing the latest and greatest in cutting-edge products and services related to the corporate, residential, hospitality, healthcare, institutional, and education design fields.

Along with the outstanding tradeshow, METROCON10 will offer attendees many continuing education classes (at a very affordable price!) on topics ranging from sustainability and energy efficiency to communicating with clients and making the most out of your design career.

NOTE: We are again asking for Industry Partner and Practitioner member help to secure relevant topics and dynamic speakers for METROCON10. The CEU's are a very important part of METROCON and are key to great attendance. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: ADA, Sustainability, Healthcare, Education, Professional Practices, Barrier-Free, LEED, Environment, etc. - the list goes on and on. The presentations will be reviewed by the METROCON10 Committee and they will decide which CEU's will be presented. 

FYI: Presentations do NOT have to be pre-approved by the Interior Design Continuing Education Council [IDCEC] to be considered. All courses chosen for 2010 will be submitted by METROCON to IDCEC together and will receive a cumulative, one-time use conference IDCEC course number. 
 
New for this year, all submissions must be made online. Please review the Submission Guidelines before beginning the Online Submission process. THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS IS MONDAY, MARCH 1, 2010.

GET INVOLVED

A team of tremendous volunteers from the Texas Chapter of ASID and the Texas / Oklahoma Chapter of IIDA will execute METROCON10. For eight years, the professional organizations have organized the conference as a service to their members. Income from the event goes back to the chapters to fund special educational and recognition programs, as well as scholarships and charities earmarked by the individual organizations.
